Only three lines address them
Royal Caribbean names baby monitors on its banned electrical items list. Disney allows them only after the ship's Chief Electrical Engineer inspects them. MSC doesn't name them, but its FAQ lists only shavers, hair dryers, battery chargers and computers as allowed cabin appliances, so we show MSC as not allowed.
Carnival, Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity, Holland America and Virgin don't mention baby monitors. Ask the line before you pack one.
Other baby gear with rules
Baby gear runs into the same electrical rules. Disney bans bottle sterilizers and warmers, but Guest Services has a few approved units you can borrow. Royal Caribbean reviews bottle warmers and sanitizers case by case through its special needs team.
For formula, several lines allow sealed distilled water. Norwegian and MSC allow factory-sealed purified or distilled water for baby formula, and Royal Caribbean allows distilled water for a baby's needs. Princess and Holland America let it go in checked bags.
Strollers
Royal Caribbean, Disney and MSC allow strollers. Disney suggests bringing your own because it has only a few loaners. See our stroller page for each line's rule.
