Can you bring a mobility scooter or wheelchair on a cruise?
Yes, on all 9 lines, but most have rules about it.
Pick your cruise line
Your scooter or wheelchair must fit through a 22-inch cabin door, unless you book a fully accessible cabin with a 32-inch door. Scooters over 21 inches wide need an accessible cabin. Batteries must be gel, dry cell, AGM or lithium-ion. Store it in your cabin, not the hallway. Scooters may be measured at check-in, and ones that don't fit can't board.

Measure before you book
Cabin door width decides a lot. Carnival's standard doors fit devices up to 22 inches (scooters over 21 inches need an accessible cabin), Royal Caribbean's and Celebrity's at least 23 inches, and Norwegian allows up to 26 inches in a standard cabin. Wider scooters need an accessible cabin.
Most lines want the scooter stored and charged in your cabin, never in the hallway, and several ask about the battery type.
